15 things I learned to be a bridesmaid
As a bridesmaid is a great honor, but for adults, being the bridesmaid, or worse, the maid of honor for one of your friends can be an experience you do not want to repeat too often or never!
Here are 15 things I learned as a bridesmaid a veteran of five marriages:
1. Remember this is not your day! The bride is the center of attention and it is her big day so be prepared to respond to her every whim. After all, as maid of honor, just to deal with tantrums Little Miss' and gaiters for a few rehearsals and wedding day after the poor guy to marry must cope with it for life;
2. If you can not be the center of attention since the marriage is concerned, you can be assured of being the center of attention for lots of guys! I know because I met my husband when I was a bridesmaid for the fourth time, but be careful if you think it will be a great way to find an outlet because:
3. Never, and I mean NEVER! Leave a guy opened the gate and accompany you if he calls you "Sugar", "Babe" or worse, "Sugarbabe!"
4. Do not allow a wife to convince you to wear the headgear vine. Yes, you can still find on a remote hill in South Carolina on a field owned by a gun toting hillbilly, aged 72 and linked to Jed Clampett as both his brother and uncle of a second;
5. Wearing woven vine leaves marks, both physical and emotional, the last for a maximum of six months, if you have the choice to wear a crown of thorns instead;
6. Glue guns are a great invention for those who want to stick things and do not care whether they explode or not – remember that glue guns from overheating and overheating because they will have a lot of use and maid of honor, you have to height;
7. Brides want everyone to wear matching earrings, so be prepared to pierce the ears if you have not already done;

12. Do everything you can to convince the bride bridesmaid who can go out of their dresses and dress practice as soon as possible for the evening. If she will not budge on this point, make sure that the bridesmaids dresses are comfortable and practical if you spend the day with them;
13. The same applies to shoes!
14. Buy gifts for the bride and groom must really be to get things they enjoy – people buy the most boring gifts and unimaginative that cost a fortune, but those who make an impression are those where a lot of thought has been devoted to them;
15. As a bridesmaid for the five friends, I am not interested in repeating the experience unless by new girl really wants I do it for her!
